Annual Memorial Day Flower Drop & Air Fair

A very special day at the Palm Springs Air Museum, this Memorial service is dedicated to all fallen comrades. The event will be highlighted by a historic flyby and flower drop of over 3,000 red and white carnations from a B-25 Mitchell bomber.

Event Timeline:

Morning: Day kicks off with flight exhibitions and warbird rides available for purchase.
11:00 AM: Clay Lacy Learjet Unveiling
1:00 PM: Flower Drop Ceremony Begins (featuring a congressional presentation to Lt. Col. F. Russ Mulvany, a historic B-24 Tail Gunner during World War II).

Special Guests: Highlights include an appearance by Lt. Col. Bob Friend, a legendary Tuskegee Airman.

Featured Activities: Enjoy a formal Color Guard, the Palm Springs Air Museum Pipe Band, live music by the Heatwave Jazz Band, Knights of Columbus Helium Balloons, Harpo the Clown, and Totally Twisted Balloons.

Food Vendors: In-N-Out Burger, Freedom Fighters’ Cafe, Cone Zone, Fries Galore, and Kone Pizza.
